Fictional contractor · Website concept

Process

From idea to agreed scope.

A clear sequence makes the project easier to understand.

01

01 / Start the enquiry

Choose a broad project category and share a short outline. A website enquiry begins a conversation; it does not book work or confirm a price.

02

02 / Assess the details

The contractor can explain which drawings, site information or visit are needed. Existing conditions, access and coordination affect the proposed work.

03

03 / Review and agree

A written proposal should set out the scope, exclusions, pricing and terms. Take time to understand it and clarify the assumptions before committing.

Before you begin

Useful questions.

Does an enquiry book the work?

No. An enquiry starts a conversation. Scope, site conditions, availability and a written agreement need to be confirmed separately.

What should I include in a first request?

Share the project type, general location, approximate size and the timing you have in mind. The contractor can explain what else is needed for an assessment.

Can I send plans or site photographs here?

This form takes a short message only. Ask the contractor how to share drawings, photographs and other project documents through an appropriate channel.

When can I get an estimate?

The contractor needs to confirm the scope and any site information before explaining the estimate process. This concept does not represent actual pricing or availability.
